'A bit late but we had a great stay. Highlight was Kumara the yoga teacher who adjusted the level as i was the only one that turned up. Guys around the resturant pool were good. And the office lady who helped me off site when she was walking hone and i had an issue.'

'Highly recommended!! The location is great, my room was spacious and well equipped, the food is plentiful and delicious and all the staff are happy, friendly and totally adorable!! If you're staying over Christmas/New Year, the extra effort with decorations and evening schedules is really lovely - the best I've experienced. 'We stayed here on our honeymoon, and was expecting a little more hospitality to be honest couldn't even get a free drink out of them 😅. They do hound you a little in the mornings for room service so don't expect a lay in at this place! The food was really good, bar slightly over priced so all inclusive would be worth it if you intend to spend most of your time at the hotel. 'The Blue Water is een prima hotel voor een rustige relax vakantie. Wij hadden een gerenoveerde superior kamer geboekt waar echt niets aan ontbrak. Zeer schoon, heerlijke bedden, mini bar met zeer betaalbare drankjes, fijn balkon met uitzicht op tuin en zee en een prima airco. Ontbijt meer dan compleet en de restaurants van goede kwaliteit. De prijzen zijn zo ''laag'' dat volgens ons de all inclusive duurder is. Het zwembad is groot en voortreffelijk. Geen glijbanen oid waardoor dit hotel...

'Bij aankomst op Colombo had ik niet gekozen voor een transferdienst van het hotel. Ik maakte gebruik van Europecar op de luchthaven en voor 5500 rupi met een privéchaffeur was ik met een ruime twee uur op bestemming (tip: neem de expressway en betaal de tol c.a. 1 euro en wat centen als je na een lange vlucht snel naar je kamer wilt).
