'De accomodatie is heel netjes en het personeel is erg aardig. Het ontbijtbuffet is uitgebreid met warme sri lankaanse gerechten, maar ook vele westerse ontbijtopties. Heerlijk vers fruit. Qua diner zijn er ook veel opties. Uitzicht vanuit het hotelrestaurant is fantastisch. Je zit aan het strand. Mooi zwembad. Kamers zijn groot en worden elke dag goed schoongemaakt. 'Booked for one night but ended up staying a day longer. Charming tiny hotel in a popular strip. The location is right off the main road with plenty of dining options nearby. Direct view of the Indian ocean from the bed in the mornings and evening is breathtaking. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Request for a "devilled chicken" to have with a cold Lion beer. A truly Sri Lankan experience. Bravo Sea World Boutique Hotel.'

'I absolutely loved my stay at Mandara and I will be back soon for sure. The staff were very friendly and special thanks to the Priyankara and bar staff, Lalit, Sampath and the pool staff and the lady who checked me in at the reception. 'We were greeted with a delicious welcome juice and a cold towel. Check in was speedy, bags were promptly delivered to our room and the room itself was spacious, cool and with a nice view. The hotel provides towels for the beach as well as the pool and the breakfast was a good spread with an egg station. All staff were friendly and calm. Coconut tree hill is a very short walk and mirissa beach was 200lrk in a tuk tuk but was also walkable. Would definitely stay again'

'Wonderful setting. We stayed in 'Pepper Cottage' and felt like we were in the jungle - but in a safe way. Best massages we had in Sri Lanka. Also the best breakfast - it was just so beautifully prepared. Location is set back off a main road - which you cannot hear - but this meant it was easy to walk to nearby restaurants.'

'We verbleven in het laagseizoen, we kregen een upgrade naar de suite. Het verblijf was geweldig, heb er geen woorden voor. Elke maaltijd ons terrasje aan het zwembad met prachtig uitzicht (l). De service is fantastisch. Eten is goed. Keuze is wat beperkt, maar ze staan open voor alle aanpassingen die je verzoekt. Enige nadeel is dat het een beetje afgelegen ligt.'

'Nice view thru window. Close to the beach, good for sunset view. Anyone can go without a charge. Clean room and supplied cookers as home stay. Dining market at beach 2km away. Bike rental friendly, five minutes walking to the rental and take me back to hotel after returning. Half hour driving to dock for wacthing whales'

'Flott, rolig og rent hotell med blide og serviceinstilte ansatte. Vi hadde 6 flotte og avslappende døgn her. Tuktuk utenfor hotellet var alltid klar for å kjøre oss dit vi ville. '

'Amazing hotel. Great staff, very boutique feeling with amazing decoration (balinese style). We stayed with our 3 children (9,7,2) in a family room, room 206, and the hotel felt perfect for kids. The pool has a shallow area, the beach area is safe and the hotel lended us some bodyboards for our older kids to play with in the sea. Note that the bedroom balcony doors do not close 100% by design so you will heqr the waves at all time (which we liked to go to sleep) but it may not be for everybody....

Había variedad de platos y bebidas, todo buenísimo. Hay oferta de actividades muy interesantes. La comunicación con el personal es fácil y cómoda. Es el lugar ideal para relajarse. Nosotros fuimos con nuestro propio coche y el acceso es complicado por la estrechez de la carretera, pero no hubo ningún percance....
