'This self-acclaimed hotel closed a year ago in a totally run-down state. Some four months ago it was bought by a new (US citizen) owner who is trying to rebuild the place. Currently there is one room that looks quite okay, however there is no reception, no personnel apart from a local housekeeper. The problem starts with the entrance. 'The property was nice but , no WiFi , swimming pool dirty, we paid to stay in a jacuzzi tub which was not working. Restaurant and bar closed at 8 pm really early. Getting to the property was complicated not enough info on the road and gps was taking us thru roads with dead ends. The property has so much potential and beauty .'

'What a hidden gem. Beautiful cabins with hammocks, amazing views, great food and a very nice staff. Not too crowded. I stayed 3 nights and wish i could have stayed longer. Highly recommended'

The place was very clean and well kept, and we felt comfortable the entire time. Ronald was very responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. 'Vier weken verbleven wij van half februari tot half maart op het complex Villa Vista Masaya, waar onze gastvrouw Nel en gastheer Joop een hele hoop bijdroegen aan ons vakantieplezier. Een schitterend landgoed, puur natuur, met daarin 8 mooie ruime bungalows, afwisselend voor 2 of 4 personen, stond tot onze beschikking. Iedere bungalow had een prachtig uitzicht op het meer en de vulkaan bij de stad Masaya. En wat ik als huisvrouw het fijnste vond: op verzoek kon onze bungalow tegen een kleine...

'Rude staff except for Ruddy, he was the only person that helped us… front desk is terrible, restaurant closes at 6pm after that you’re on your own! Wouldn’t recommend '
