'Niet echt vriendelijk bij check in. Verouderd, kamer, badkamer en ontbijtruimte. Geen lekkere koffie.'

'The room was antiquated. Furniture (lamps were rusted). Did not smell clean. The locks on the door were not secure. I did not feel safe at all! There was no hot water when I took my shower after running the water for 30min. NEVER AGAIN!'

'Super cool alternative to hotel. Very clean, cozy, and comfortable. Plenty of room for family of 4. Host was super thoughtful with unexpected amenities. We will definitely book again if travels take us this way.'

'If the management just put some effort into the rooms, they would be much better. That, however, won’t fix the issue of the clientele. Marijuana smoking, beer drinking yahoos who party all night. Thankfully, there was a loud fan that enabled us to block a good portion of it out. If you cater to the lowest common denominator, that is what you will get. We were hoping for more but we got what we paid for. We will not return.'

'Zimmer etwas veraltet und bedürfen einer Renovierung. Geruch im Zimmer nicht besonders gut, nach umfangreicher Lüftung aber in Ordnung. Pool nicht sauber, daher auch nicht genutzt. Frühstück in Ordnung, halt amerikanisch.'

'I was very impressed by the cleanliness of all the rooms. Gave you the home feeling away from home. Very nice place'

There was a lot of space around the cottage that made it feel private, and a small space fenced in for our dogs. A few things that would have made our stay even better: cleaner cooking pots; real coffee mugs; better instructions for things like the outside light, and space heaters. There was also a lot of noise throughout the night from large trucks and...

'Great place to stay with pets (including horses!). Beer, wine, coffee, snacks, and continental breakfast were a bonus and a big help since restaurants are about 10 miles away. Location was perfect for going to Darling Raceway.'

'Such a beautiful home and perfect for our family of 10 for a weekend visit to Cheraw. We enjoyed reading the stories of the family history of the home and loved cooking breakfast in the well appointed kitchen. The home is more beautiful than the pictures show. Very well furnished and so comfortable to stay. The hospitality and prompt and helpful communication from host John was much appreciated. I hope that we’ll all get a chance to stay here again someday!'
