« Tommy and Nicole are lovely people and they provide a beautiful respite for escaping the hustle bustle of life. Nicole is an excellent chef and we had the best breakfast I remember having made fresh every morning. Jefferson is a gem of a town and the Benefield is a truly remarkable historical property restored to perfection! »

« The White Oak Manor Bed & Breakfast was within walking distance to downtown shopping and dining. The owner Dave made the most amazing breakfasts while we were there. Super cute place to stay. »

« Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. »

« Nicest B&B we have experienced! Wonderfully appointed, pristinely clean, great food and friendly, knowledgeable hosts. Highly recommend Kennedy Manor, and hope to be back soon! »

« Well-decorated home. Very close to town, and many homes in the area are “period” homes. Lots of antique shopping, but make sure to visit the Time and Measurement Museum. Wonderful visit to a great little town. »

« perfect place to stay, visiting family at Buckhorn RV camp. about 10-14 minute drive. »

« Beautiful home with so many wonderful antiques and charming appointments. Spacious rooms. Large dining table with many chairs. So many places to gather. A delightful breezeway with ceiling fans and comfortable wicker chairs and loveseats. Many outdoor seating spots and a lovely front porch to gather. We loved the golf cart supplied to go out each night to dinner. Also, the wonderfully landscaped homes in the area were so much fun to drive by. »

« Had a lovely time at Sanders Lodge. Plenty of space inside and out to spread out, the lake is much more beautiful in person than the pictures give it credit. I wish that we could’ve stayed longer. »
