'This hotel is unique because of the position in the jungle. No phone and internet available. Be aware to take enough cash with you for paying safaris and food/drinks, because they charge a extra fee for using your card due to the absince of internet connectoin with the bank. 'Exellent resort right on the lake/dam side. We really enjoyed to chill out here for a 2 days break during our motorcycle ride in Sri lanka. Staff and and food were top notch. The resort offer a complimentary boat trip on the lake in the morning. The area is very peaceful as no boats with engines are allowed. The water is very clean and we saw no plastic or rubbish. 'Safe, relaxing and comfortable stay near Wasgamuwa National Park. The proprietor and staff could not have been more helpful, organising a safari and onward transport to Habarana. Food was buffet-style with plenty of options, plentiful and tasty. '

'Me and my family stayed two nights at the property and we had a very good time there. Their wild boar curry was our favorite. Staff is friendly and the rooms are clean, we travelled with my 2 year old and she had no trouble there. Pool is clean and the location of the property is close to all tourist attractions in the city.'
