'We really enjoyed this property. It was like stepping back in time as we opened the wooden door taking us up the worn staircase to the amazing apartment upstairs. Beautifully decorated and conveniently located to shops and restaurants, we’ll definitely consider this property for our next trip to Vicksburg. Everything was perfect, other than not receiving the door code prior to arriving. That was quickly resolved upon calling host. '

'We loved our stay! The interior has historic charm, clean, comfortable & a perfectly curated art collection to enjoy. We parked right outside on the street, had a magnificent dinner at a restaurant steps away and enjoyed listening to a local band snuggled up on our private terrace. Chris is an absolutely lovely hostess and I am delighted to bring home a print of her artwork. Vicksburg has the friendliest people and delicious food. I can’t wait to visit again. '

'We had a wonderful stay at the house, Lucy communicated well and everything was in good order. The house is very charming with vintage Vicksburg vibes. Would definitely recommend for a spacious place to stay!'

'We loved the layout of the house. The house didn’t look big from the outside but wow it was super big and accommodating. The master bedroom and bathroom was spacious and comfortable. We fell in love with the mattress on the bed. '

'We were in town for Miss Mississippi and stayed at this lovely upstairs apartment! With 4 people, we knew we’d need more than a hotel room and this apartment fit the bill beautifully and was within our budget!We loved our stay and even though we ran into a few things to note, we’ve already discussed that we hope to rent again next year if our girls are Magnolia Belles again! 'Checking in process was good, they had a great description of what to do when you got to property. No concerns there. I had my family with me on this trip, including a crawling 1 year old. We found the house to be very unclean when we arrived. We found some toenail clippings and some old food bits scattered amongst the floor. Obviously floors had not been swept from the previous guests. The house is older which gives it great character but the small window units that cool the entire...

"Bij binnenkomst van kamer 209 rook je direct een heftige muffige lucht. De schimmel stond in het gordijn en bij het openen van de koelkast lag de deur al op de grond. Vervolgens zag je op al het houtwerk vieze en plakkerige vlekken en handafdrukken van grote en kleine kinderen. De doucheruimte was helemaal erg. De afvoer van de douche was verstopt en het water liep er langzaam weg. Het douchegordijn hing op half elf en het toilet en wastafel was provisorisch in elkaar gelijmd. Het was echt een armoedig zooitje."
