'Beautiful area but not close to anything. Horse taxi round trip was $20 per person. One restaurant close by. Biking feasible but very hilly on unpaved roads. Walk into town was more than 2 miles which is fine in nice weather. Room was nice with frig and microwave, balcony, comfy bed. The island is not senior friendly and expensive. Budget accordingly.'

'For those who know me on this website, you know how I am really difficult to impress. Well this Hotel GOT ME. Even more at the price I paid. The hotel may be a little outside the Mackinaw city, but the distance worth the advantage. We had a wonderful spacious room, plenty of spaces, with balcony, view to the beach. The staff was friendly and informative, made sure we were fine, even offer to set up food service if needed, despite the late time. Wow. Wonderful. I won`t forget this place....

'The staff was great. Breakfast was OK. We were disappointed that the hot tub was out of order. Looking at the murky water in the hot tub suggests that it has been broken for a VERY LONG TIME. You should not have hot tub listed on your Expedia add since you don't have one for guest to use.'
