« The cottage was great and well furnished. Caroline met us at the door even though we got in later than intended and gave us a tour then remained in contact with us our entire stay. She made sure we had everything we needed. Her and her husband are gracious hosts. We had everything we needed and more. They even helped us with suggestions of what to see and offered to make the arrangements for us. Great stay. »

« Tara View Apartments is a peaceful, beautiful property. The staff are helpful and congenial. The accommodations are shockingly good for such an economic option. Public transit and taxis are hard to come by, so car hire is recommended. That provided, there couldnt be a better place to stay in County Meath unless one absolutely must be able to get to the city by foot or bus. »

I am from the United States and stayed here for my first few days in Ireland to rest and adjust to the time difference, and it was such a comfortable transition. « The cottage is a converted farm building with an eclectic collection of furniture which proved quirky but comfortable and our host was very friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days there. The steps up to the mezzanine bedroom are quite steep and narrow so may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues but our adult son had no problems »

« The hosts were very gracious and or little one enjoyed walking around the woods and getting to see a few animals. Very nice that they had a travel crib and a highchair for us to use. Ashebourne had a surprising amount of restaurants for takeout and easy access to Dublin/the airport with a rental car. »
