'We loved sitting on the edge every morning and seeing the sun come up. We cooked delicious meals everyday in the kitchen and the ac kept us cold at night, loved that we had hot water in showers. 'Prior to our stay, Eric provided an island guide via email that we found incredibly helpful throughout our trip. Upon arrival, Tony met us at the airport and helped us get to the rental car building. Tony led us to the house and showed us around, making sure we had everything we needed. We had an absolutely amazing stay. Aqua Vista was so perfect that we didn't even feel the need to leave the house most days. 'This is a cute little cottage with an absolutely gorgeous view & access to shallow water 2-4 feet when tides out! Owner has snorkel equipment, kayaks, floats and other supplies for enjoying the water! It’s a bit of an inconvenience to run to the grocery so bring your own food. Kitchen is fairly stocked w most things needed to prepare food. We loved the dock, especially at night when star gazing was great! The visiting dogs are a fun addition! Host is very attentive.'

'Overall wonderful time. For us could not be better than to be able to walk right over to Tropic of Cancer Beach our favorite. The upstairs Patio was everything we wanted relax and enjoy a sunset after your day and the view. Breea delights right on the beach she has the best drinks on the islands and perfect great beach lunches and so friendly! Owners were wonderful and answered questions in minutes. We will be back !'

'This was our second time at Gate house. It was a shorter trip and we were reluctant to leave. I appreciated the pool and was in it every afternoon. We also love the beach to the South of the house and all the friendly people around to help. It was great seeing Harrison again and of course we really enjoyed seeing Captain Reynold and our fishing trips with him. Cat Island is truly beautiful and we can’t wait to come back!'

'The property is in a great location and we really enjoyed our stay. I can't give it a 5 star rating though due to the fact that it is advertised as a 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath and we were never able to use the 3rd floor bathroom due to the low water pressure. I know this is not the owners fault, but it really should be advertised as a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath. We were able to take a shower outside where there was an outdoor showerhead.
