« I was very happy with my queen suite room. There were two beds and a small pull out couch. The pull-out was behind a small partition so it actually felt like a separate space. That little space also came with a separate TV. The beds were comfortable and the room was a good size. Unlike other hotels, the bathroom felt far enough away from the beds that it felt as though there was actually some privacy. The shower came with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The towels were soft and absorbent....

« I made the reservation a day late, so when we arrived we didnt have a room. The receptionist and manager worked hard to get us a room. The only thing was that we had to change rooms between nights. Both rooms very nice. The view of Lake Nakomis was beautiful. Fun games outside on the lawn. Very nice continental bfast. Very nice and accommodating manager. We chose well!!! »

« Having travelled to many states and stayed in many franchise hotels, this stay at AmericInn by Wyndham in Merrill, WI was the most enjoyable stay we have had in a long time. Very clean, comfortable, quiet and tastefully done. For what a person pays for now, it was nice to actually have a room that met those expectations and left you feeling that you weren't ripped off. Thank you for the updated, comfortable and pleasant stay. »

« Room was very outdated, no washcloths, towels flimsy and scratchy, very tiny soap and shampoo bottle for 3 people, so ring your own. Outdoor key entries were not all working, fitness center stuff not all operational. Room AC wasn't very good. Parking lot had gravel and potholes. Not worth the $$ »

« Everything was spotless in the room and bathroom! Beds very comfy! Pool was warm and hot tub just right! Staff very polite and helpful! Breakfast buffet was great! »

« Had to lift up bathroom door to close. Only one screw half way out on top holding it! Toilet lid had nothing hold it and my roommate slipped off and sprained his wrist. Bathroom was filthy!!! Worst room I’ve ever been in. Coffee pots at breakfast, 2 were empty and one was Luke warm. With our room filthy, we felt that we probably should not eat and opted to eat at a restaurant! Excellent choice!! »

« The rooms were clean and basic. The beds felt like I was sleeping on bricks. I didn't sleep at all. I also had issues with the billing of the room. »

« The hotel cancelled my reservation as I was sitting in my truck in their parking lot, 38 minutes before check-in at 2pm. I will copy paste the message below. Also I have called expedite no less than five times trying to get my money refunded. And I am still trying. So DO NOT go to this hotel. « This is a lovely clean property. The furniture is nice & clean. There is lots of little "things" for the just in case incidents, ie safety pins, batteries or suran wrap in the drawer. Luckily we didn't need anything but it was a wonderful surprise. And I absolutely love the towels, soft & very absorbent. It's down a long driveway so you get the secluded feel but close civilization. Highly recommend! We will be booking again when we visit family again. »
