'Breakfast menu is limited and you have to order the night before. Shower in deluxe room was very poor - very slow and no hot. Eventually was transferred to another room. No room safe! Aside from the that the room was excellent '

'Nice room, they kindly upgraded me. There was a 6.0 earthquake while here and the building coped well! No cracks or problems. Absolutely loved the american style restaurant upstairs with live music and great food. '

'A surprise to find a lovely hotel there. There was a Valentines dinner with a large buffet an a free cocktail. The room was large and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was fine. Strong hot water. The breakfast was filipino with your choice of eggs. 5th floor bat and snscks great'

'we always have a great stay when we stay at the Rosvenil. It has become our reliable and go to place to stay when in Tacloban. 'This is an old hotel, but glad I stayed. Had a front room, stunning view from the 5th floor out into the ocean. The view is even while sitting on the bed. Note: when you come out of the hotel, go right, past the pier, to where the six giant markets are, find the seafood, we bought lobster, crab, shrimp, then walk back the opposite direction, past the hotel, keep walking till you see all the little shops cooking food, they will cook your seafood for a very small price. There are about 20 long...

'Avoid room 200a it's small, needs paint, walls in bath need bleached. AC, weak. Doesn't circulate well, a ceiling fan would alleviate. Needs electrical box cover next to bed, . And put outlet, a nightstand would be welcomed. Peek in room across as w was being cleaned. It seemed much nicer. Even with those fixed, unable to fix run size, and window in room just opens to hallway. workers friendly and helpful. '
