'We were in room 214. That is right above the entrance. Every time the door opened and closed it sounded like thunder in our room. My husband says it needs new bearings. Was very annoying. He suggested that the manager sleep in that room. It might get fixed sooner. Also the air conditioner was very loud. Hair dryers were hanging behind the door in the bathroom. Had to ask where it was. 'The Wellington Cottage has so much to offer, with the number of beds, and bathrooms, and the casita. And it’s so fully stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms! And then there’s the outdoor area with the lake view and amenities. Wonderful! Hotels.com (Expedia) caused issues with securing the property but the property owner (Aaron) was easy to work with and get the issue resolved.'

'This was a lovely two bedroom home, very clean, and near the shops in Shipsewana. There was a long enough driveway for 2-3 cars. We sat in the chairs in the front of the house in the evening and watched quite a few buggies with Amish families trot by. They would wave to us which was fun. I would recommend this place to stay.'
