'Dining area in need of help . One person working could not keep up with coffee and keep the area clean'

'We asked that our room be cleaned every day and it was not, they went two days without cleaning, so we had to leave our dirty towels and empty our own trash and leave it in the hallway, so we had to go and scrounge up our own towels as no body answered the phone at the front desk. also, it seemed odd that the bar closed at ten PM. Guess it was good because they charged $29.00 for two drinks. At the price we paid for a two room suite it was not a pleasant experience at all.'

'This property is very well located 1 blocks from the train station in downtown Durango. Property is older and in need of remodeling. Hallways smell strongly of cigarettes. Breakfast was very basic but coffee was good.'

'De staat van de accomodatie is niet zo goed meer. Maar jebetaalt er dan ook minder voor. Dus dit was wel ok. Voor ons was dit enkel om te slapen, dus ik was zeer tevreden, ik had ´iet meer verwacht als je de helft van elders betaalt.'

'Paid $250 for 1 night and $100 deposit!! If I could rate zero stars I would the room was disgusting the walls had black marks all over them, mind you the walls are white. There was dust everywhere, the ac smelt awful. The towels had dried up dead bugs in them when we unfolded them all the dead bugs fell out. The refrigerator and microwave had crumbs all over. There was dog food on the floor and dirt and leaves. We asked a staff member if he could at least sweep and mop and get us clean towels...

'I would call the Hampton Durango a hidden gem. Top 5 likes were: comfortable bed and bedding, clean room, walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants and covered, garage parking, a big plus in an area that gets summer hail.'

'They didnt have enough staff. The lady working the kitchen was tending to guests requests with towels etc. , she was also manning the front desk. There was a carafe of hot water for tea etc that was cold , microwave didnt work in eat in area. The bathroom in our executive suite was not real clean, there was nastiness around the toilet by the floor. If that had been our first LaQuinta visit, we would never go to another. However, not all are like that. It needs some help with management.'

'Hele huis is goed verzorgd inclusief keuken met alles erop en eraan zodat je zelf lekker kan koken en niet altijd ergens hoeft te eten. Ik verbleef in de dorm die heel ruim en netjes was maar ze hebben ook prive kamers. Gedeelde badkamers/toilet ook netjes. Alles schoon en geheel doet huiselijk aan. Dichtbij Mesa Verde park en Canyons of the Ancients en andere parken op de route. Twee leuke coffee bar voor ontbijt/lunch/sandwich aan de overkant van de straat en om de hoek.'
