'We found that the hotel room ('Elite' room in Cove Hotel) was not as nice as the photos presented, and was not consistent with the cost of it. It was very basic if that's what you're looking for (given that it is in a good location) but for the price we paid we expected a nicer room. For example, the shower was dilapidated and stained and the toilet seat moved around and would not stay on the toilet. Overall disappointing.'

'This is a wonderful, beautiful property with very supportive staff and ownership. Everything is extremely clean and well kept. The building is well secured and feels safe. All modern touches, stylish and functional. It was great to have the ability to do laundry - clean, modern equipment and supplies too, and free to use (i.e. not coin machines)! 'Location is excellent. This unit is tore up. They boast a security deposit but they aren’t using it to maintain. The rooms smelled of cigarettes and could use an airing out. Slept ok but only because I had earplugs- neighbors were loud and partying. Didn’t feel comfortable sitting on the couch… but excellent location. Glad it was only one night.'

Another traveller reported that the front door doesn’t lock (meaning anyone can walk in and up to the apartment area), so it wasn’t a surprise, but it’s not great that this hasn’t been treated as a priority.
