« The grounds for the property are very nice. The front desk is only open from 10AM-6PM. I walked barefoot in my room and the bottoms of my feet were black. The hotel gives you the tiniest bar of soap- probably enough to wash your hands and does not service the room every day. The closest store/ restaurant is 10 miles away and the front desk/ store has very limited supplies and limited hours. There is a full kitchen, but one of the frying pans supplied was filthy. Seemed to have been recently remodeled, although it would have been nice to have things like extra counter space in the bathroom and hooks for towels, etc. You're in the woods so expect some bugs/spiders to make their way into the room. The bed was okay... maybe a little stiff but everyone has their own preferences. « The hotel location is beautiful, and the outdoor seating area overlooking the lake is amazing. It would be even better if they added more outdoor seating, as it's a great place to relax. We stayed in a King Room with a sofa bed, which was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is decent but can be better. Parking is spacious and convenient.
