« An off-putting first message started my stay off on a bad foot. Host was not welcoming in the least and instead launched into a laundry list of rules that needed to be followed. While I understand it’s necessary information to divulge to a guest, it’s a turn-off when it’s the first interaction. « Owner was slow to answer emails (often 2-3 days) and often required multiple emails from request to rent, questions, and even while we were there. There were very minimal amenities (only 4 dining chairs for 5 BR house, very minimal cookware, only 5 towel sets for rental with 8 people.) Towel bar and toilet paper holder in upstairs hall bath fell off wall with normal use. Shoes were left in front coat closet upon our arrival. »
