« We all had a wonderful time, it is in a great location. Perfect place to relax! We had two older teen boys with us and even they had a great time! They lived in the kayaks, they fished from them and also from the dock. We all enjoyed the game room and yard games. The coffee bar was a nice little perk, especially on the chilly mornings. My husband and I took a bike ride around the neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. We would absolutely recommend the Lake Haus! »

« Stayed 10 nights and the house is fantastic! Spacious, clean, well stocked for meal prep needs! Two fridges came in handy for our family gathering. Area is great for morning walks, grill available for cookouts, beach chairs and bikes were used often. Would highly recommend and the host was incredibly responsive. »

« Beautiful property overlooking water. Stunning sunset. We enjoyed watching wildlife. For Walks on the beach bring appropriate shoes. Dock a bit wobbly. Clean home. Note three rooms are for three people. Beds not the most comfortable and make noise when moving! They had a full septic tank, we bought more paper towels, tp. and towels to stay comfortably. Kitchen can be small with more than two cooks. Not enough chairs to sit around table and eat together. We enjoyed the patio/deck area for meals....

« Its a small but comfy house. Clean and well kept. It had what we needed. Kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you need but bring all spices, sugars and condiments. The best part is you walk out the back door and 20 feet away is the beach. Easy to get to, no stones, all sand. We didn't swim that wasn't on our list to do but we did enjoy campfires and sunsets right on the beach. We saw eagles and pelicans and we enjoyed the quiet and privacy of the beach. This is a working ranch, so you will never feel isolated. I've been coming to Door County for years but learned more about the area from owner Steve during our short three night stay than I had in the last 35 years! »

My kids and I loved the house and the lake access (private beach). They want to go back every year:). It was a little chilly for July but that did not stop my kids from swimming in the lake.
