'I took one of the cabins. However you truly get what you pay for. Whilst it was cheap (around $35 USD per night), it felt like a downgrade from the rest of the hotel. You go down into the basement where you essentially have tiny rooms and it makes you feel like you’re in a prison. The room was tiny, which is not a complaint as that was clearly advertised. However I had 2 major concerns: 1) my room had a horrible heavy smoking smell. It was extremely strong and lingering. I did alert staff...

'zeer mooi hotel en prachtig uitzicht. service kunnen ze nog aanwerken. elke dag moeten vragen voor badartikelen en glazen, hoort niet zo te zijn bij een 5 sterren hotel.'

'highly recommended :) very friendly staff'

'The place is authentic and beautiful, the room have nice views and comfortable. The location is great berween apple trees snd in august we had to wear a javket at night.'

'Wonderful service from the staff. Great traditional Lebanese breakfast and very generous portion.'

'We stayed in an executive double room, and we were very impressed. The room was very large, with a king-size bed, desk, and reading chair. The bed was quite comfortable, with 2 kinds of pillows. 'Very nice, recommend'

'Nice and cozy stay, having the pool accessible at night was nice'

'We stayed at the Madison Hotel for over 3 weeks we found the staff to be excellent and so caring and accommodating. The air conditioning was great during our stay so important as the weather was very hot during in July and August. Hotel was close to so many resturants, grocery stores, coffee shops and beaches. Diffently will come back and stay again.'

'Had such a lovely stay at Beit al Baydar. Nathalia and her team are most kind and deliver you an absolutely unforgettable stay. Beit el Baydar is a hidden gem in the mountains with an amazing view from the pool, a very relaxing terrace and comfortable rooms. The breakfast - prepared freshly in front of you - is one of the best in Lebanon. An absolute must visit if you're looking for a romantic, quiet and relaxing getaway while being close to beautiful places like Batroun and Byblos.'
