'The good, the bad and the ugly. The good: this property is in a very beautiful area. The views are great and it was really quiet. The bad: There is poorly stocked convenience store on site. They basically had chips and drinks a few other items. The reach in coolers and gas pumps were not working. And there was a vending machine with cigarettes that looks like it’s been there since the 80s. The hours of the not-so convenient store were pretty bad as well. On Saturday morning they didn’t open...

'Good location. Great restaurant judging by the breakfast buffet. Disappointments were the ice and vending machines...3 out of 4 checked were not working. Also no hangers in the room. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable.'

The food was great and the hospitality of the family who had their reunion to make my Mom's birthday special was something we'll cherish for a long time! 'We had a very nice spacious ground floor room with king bed and large bathroom (suite 7) in the Carriage House annex. It had a view of the main building's rear. It is a nice heritage building. Towels and shower were good. Breakfast offered freshly made hot items and home-made jam of good quality. Friendly staff. Parking in the quiet street in front of the hotel. Breakfast time between 9 and 10 am, a bit too late to our liking. The king bed was a bit too sensitive to a partner's movements in bed....

'The staff was friendly , the hotel and amenities were not up to the standards that are advertised. This hotel is very out dated many repairs need to be made. The restroom has no steam vent and there is water damage to the wall and door. Many stains and holes on the walls. The flooring desperately needs to be redone. Bed is old and not comfortable. Bare minimum with cleanliness.'
