« What a pleasant surprise. The place is wonderful. We had a full floor and a huge balcony overlooking the local volcanic mountains. We immensely enjoyed staying there. Unfortunately it was only for one night. We will correct this the next time. The swimming pool is remote though, you have to take the car and beware that they have no place where to change. They told you to go to the public restrooms which are disgusting. So change at the hotel. The pool is managed by another facility, not Crooked...

« En période d'été, pas facile de trouver des hotels propres et sympa à pas cher dans la zone touristique, Madras est un bon compromis. L'accueil très bien, propreté et confort suffisants. Pas de bruit, ce qui est un luxe. Piscine (pas essayée). Frigo et micro-ondes dans la chambre. »

« We loved being just feet from the entrance to the Crooked River Canyon Trail. It was quiet, clean and easy to access. I would stay there again. »

« The house and the location were amazing. It was very spacious and peaceful. The house was very clean, and the amenities were great. The views out the back deck & hot tub were gorgeous. A great getaway and relaxing vacation with friends. »

« The location is perfect for enjoying Smith Rock, the home was comfortable and had everything we needed. The only downside was the obnoxious registration process including creating an account and uploading IDs and having to switch browsers to make the link work. »

« We grew up coming to the Metolius River - one of our favorite places in the world. Have been campers all our lives, but getting too creaky for that now. This is second best to camping... maybe better according to my husband. Easy walk to Camp Sherman store, the river and fly-fishing, spectacular hiking. Well stocked cabin with beautiful deck overlooking the river. Serene. Will be back! »

« It felt like home when i walked in and it went up from there. Beautiful view, comfy window seat - didn’t use the couch once. I thought the bed & pillows were very comfortable. Quiet neighborhood, good sense of privacy. I'm a female solo traveler and felt safe. Really, nothing wrong with the place, only good. »

« On top of the incredible view, all the amenities you could think of were in the house. We used the grill both nights and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We did not want to leave! »

"J’ai apprécié de pouvoir faire un checking 10 minutes après la fermeture de la réception et je remercie la réceptionniste pour cela. Par contre, au-delà de dormir, il n’y a rien à faire. Et attention la climatisation ne fonctionne pas bien. Le matin pas de check Out, la réception était toujours fermé à 8h30, le petit déjeuner qui était censé être compris, même si on avait pas de grandes attentes n’était pas et n’avait pas lieu"
