« We enjoyed our stay here greatly. The cabin is a perfect size, and it seemed to have everything we needed. At one point, my wife realized she needed to use scissors, and viola, there was a pair in a drawer. Being able to make our own coffee each morning was fantastic. « This place was so charming. It was roomy for our extended family. We used the kitchen a lot while we were there and it had all the equipment we needed. The bathroom was spacious. We spent time on the front porch watching the sun rise each morning. The place was centrally located for all local activities.The host was super responsive to all our questions and all communication was met in a timely manner.I would highly recommend this place for a family get together. »

« Remote location was quiet and private but very close to Ft Davis as well as other area attractions (Mcdonald Observatory, Balmorhea State Park/San Solomon Springs Pool, Ft Davis State Park, Marfa, etc.) The cabin was clean, well-equipped and the bed was super-comfortable. « Artistic and fun property, with all the comforts of home! Great for couples, friends or families. (Maybe tough with a toddler who wants to touch everything, thinking back to those days, as they have so many cool decorations .... but depends on your kids!) We would stay again. »

It is centrally located to Marfa, Alpine, McDonald Observatory.We were there at the beginning of the week mid March and found that many restaurants didn't open until Thursday. If I had known, I would have shopped Lowes for groceries and cooked in Starry Night's very lovely kitchen. A very nice large dining table for meals and games. »
