'If you are staying more than 2 days get a rental car. The hotel is very good at what it does, which is provide a relaxing atmosphere with an accessible onsen. The restaurants there are not really restaurants. Breakfast is a buffet of plentiful food, mostly Japanese but I believe a pure westerner could survive. There is no lunch service.
