'Great location at walking distance from Hualien. It was very busy around New Year. Staff and service got better afterwards. There was a very friendly woman serving breakfast. We gave permission to not clean our room the first day, but they also skipped the 2nd day. Could have used the new bottles of water and clean towels. '

'Very nice stay in the suite with a delicious breakfast. Unfortunately the earthquake cut our stay short, but they were so accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. What a terrifying thing for the staff to navigate - they were wonderful. I fear the hotel had significant damage and hope they will be able to reopen. '
