'Clean hotel; hot tub and pool were clean. There was a nice outside sitting and boardwalk area. Breakfast was fine. Same as other hotels but they did provide breakfast sandwiches which was a nice change. I will definitely stay again but not in the mid winter. In mid winter, the entrance off main road is hard to find if snow is blowing. If they could light over the drive entrance better, I would consider in winter.'

'We have stayed here twice during MTU move-in week, and the location is convenient to Houghton, without all the chaos of trying to stay and park downtown. The cabin has plenty of room and the amenities are fine. My only concern is there are some electrical issues in the bathroom causing the GFCI to trip frequently, and the smoke detectors were both dead.'
