'Beautiful setting. The grounds were so nice to enjoy and the view from our balcony was perfect. Older lodge but the room was upgraded to still show original fixtures. Tall table and bar stools was a nice feature making it easy to sit and enjoy computers and cocktails.'

'So fun it was like stepping back in time . Lovely spacious room'

'This is my third visit to Lightwell. I love the property though believe they can do better. They’re a nice property in a great town. I think the lobby and rooftop area are fantastic. The front desk staff is great. What I found wrong is that the room could be kept cleaner. This is a brand new property that they spent over a year or more renovating and opened not quite a year ago. I just think the housekeeping management could be better. For me, the bathrooms are the area that really indicate how...

'We upgraded our stay to a suite and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were huge and nicely furnished. The view was breathtaking! We enjoyed a soak in a large tub, and relaxed by the fireplace in the evening. A wonderful way to spend our anniversary!'

'Het was een nette kamer met een fijn bed. Alleen maakte airco en koelkast veel geluid. Ligging is goed. Dichtbij winkels en restaurants.'

'Our stay was wonderful. We loved everything! The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the different waterfalls in the area and enjoying Oregon's beautiful scenery. Breakfast at the restaurant, with its gorgeous river view, was spectacular. The room was super clean, and everything was excellent. We definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again. A beautiful and unforgettable experience! ❤️🌲🌊'

'Very clean, not overpriced, good location in this nice and charming town'

'Rough shape'

'I had a great stay. Decided to drive to Washington for Mt. Rainier because the weather was so nice and clear. Asked the front desk if I could leave a day earlier and they were very cooperative. Don’t know her name, but very nice lady at the frontdesk. '

'Nice stay, Great staff! Suggest renting a single unit, as if you were in one with attached, very noisy. In our unit you could only watch tv in bed, and the headboard was definately not made for that, very uncomfortable set up. Great location for visiting The Dalles, Multnomah Falls (and other falls) and the Bonneville Dam and fish ladders.'

'Clean and cute room with fantastic view. Staff welcoming and accommodating. Grounds and outdoor space well kept. 2 minutes to Downtown Hood River. Would definitely stay there again.'

'Super friendly and detailed communications. Excellent location that’s easily walkable to everything around town and down on the waterfront. Super clean and thoughtful accommodations. We will be back!'

'Excellent location , good parking, Navigating the TV was confusing.'
