'The hotel is situated in Habarana which is near to all the cultural locations. The lodges are rather dark and midscale, not what you expect from a 4+ star rated hotel. The staf is friendly but not that fast in the restaurant. Not too many alternatives nearby. '

'Ontzettend genoten tijdens het verblijf in Deer Park (gezin met 4 kids). Erg goed diner (buffet) en ontbijt. Prima kamers. Heerlijk zwembad. Ligt erg mooi maar wat achteraf. Maar 1 nacht daar verbleven en weet niet wat de mogelijkheden (restaurants) buiten de accommodatie zijn. Uitzicht op het meer.'

'The standout from this place was the pool. Easily the best to date in Lanka. It runs directly East to West so has the sun permanently on it, making it lovely and warm. It also appears in very good nick so I would guess is relatively new. The room was pleasantly adequate with no complaints. 'Location is good. Lots of ants and insects in the room. Host was welcoming. But be aware of food cost. Ask price before ordering. We order seafood dinner for three. He made combination of fish, calamari, tiny crabs and few shrimp and charged 50 dollars(water for drink). We paid as we did not ask before eating.
