« We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. »

« Love this cottage! Great place to go with your partner, the cottage provides a lot of privacy while also being very close to communal buildings on the property. My Pug loved watching the deer in the front yard! Can’t wait to make this a regular getaway for my family. »

« What a view! We enjoyed our stay at 3100 feet. It was worth the ride on the unpaved path to the top! We had a comfortable and peaceful time, staying very comfortably at the top of the world. Hosts are lovely and friendly. Had car trouble, and the nearby car repair helped us while we waited. Loved our place! Thank you! »

« Only thing is people need to respect the reserved space for those that are disabled. We had two people park in that spot and they were not staying with us in the unit. Yes, there are other spaces but having that spot for husband does make a difference. »

« This place is supercute! There is a very home-y feel to everything. They have multiple options of things to do on the property as well as give you lots of ideas of things to do in the area. Our family of 5 really enjoyed getting away from everyday life and being able to spend it in a home away from home. »

« Beautiful resort, clean & spacious condo. Lots of activities for the family to enjoy. I recommend staying away from the timeshare presentation they offer guest. »

« Very nice place. Cute cabin with lovely views. The fire pit are with a covered couch swing is great for evenings. If you are an early riser, there are nice sunrise views of the mountains. Enclosed property so you feel safe at night. We even dozed off one night on the swing looking at the stars. Hot tub was good and seemed well cared for. Landscaping is nice.Cabin itself was clean with updated fixtures and a good kitchen. We did see a few wasps by the deck. It appears there are some traps and the...

« Great stay..bathrooms needed to be cleaned »

« We had 3 16 year olds, 12 and 19 year old plus my boyfriend and myself stayed here for 5 days. The train through the back yard was awesome, the beautiful river, private dock and fire pit across the street was perfect. Having the kids crossing the road was really a non issue for us since they are older. I was worried about sharing one bathroom but we made out just fine also not having a TV worried me but turned out to be great. Got us to spend time together and looking for the next thing to do....

« They cabin was beautiful and more than met my expectations! The front porch was so nice with the hummingbirds coming to visit! It was so hot out but the cabin was cool and comfortable. Saw so many deer, dogs and horses! It was a great little trip! Would lo e to come down in the fall, it would be gorgeous! »

« A beautiful secluded house that has a magnificent view of mountains in the distance from the porch. The jacuzzi was sooo relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Perfect location to all sights. I would recommend to family and friends! »

Skyland

10/10 Excellent

"Nous avons passé 3 nuits début juillet 2025 à Skyland, et ce fut une expérience exceptionnelle ! Notre chambre double avec deux lits queen était spacieuse, propre et très confortable. Elle disposait de tout le nécessaire : TV, Wi-Fi, machine à café, et surtout une superbe terrasse avec une vue à couper le souffle sur les montagnes de Shenandoah : un vrai bonheur au lever comme au coucher du soleil. Le personnel a été extrêmement accueillant et serviable tout au long du séjour, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable. L’hôtel est idéalement situé au cœur du parc, parfait pour rayonner sur Skyline Drive et profiter des randonnées sans passer trop de temps en voiture. Sur place, tout est prévu pour un séjour pratique et agréable : restaurant, bar, boutique, machine à glace, parking gratuit… (Seul petit point à noter : il n’y a pas de piscine, mais franchement, on ne vient pas ici pour ça !). Nous recommandons chaudement Skyland à tous ceux qui veulent profiter pleinement de Shenandoah NP dans un cadre naturel, calme et authentique. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter !"
