'House keeping was awful. Accommodation was dirty, smelly and not aired. Fire left dirty from previous guests. Washing up sponge was soooo old it was discussing and unbelievable. Breakfast food was very poor, cheap unhealthy food. Dinner option was a choice of 2 meals. No wine list, just one red wine offered. Staff were friendly, but not trained. Wouldn’t recommend at all. Setting is good. '

'Prima hotel. Goede accomodatie, fraaie ligginf, vriendelijk personeel. Alleen wifi in centrale ruimte beschikbaar'

'For south Africa standards this is not a good hotel for this price range.'

'Tolle Unterkunft und ruhig gelegen. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen.'

'Helaas bij binnenkomst begon onze ervaring al slecht. Dit was het teken voor ons hele verblijf. Ondanks dat men goed hun best deed, was het onduidelijk en zijn we niet op de hoogte gehouden. '

'Prachtige locatie met prachtig uitzicht over vallei mooie kamer heerlijk gegeten.'

The pond is beautiful, the ducks friendly, and the fast moving creek sounds lull you to sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies. The staff was friendly and the whole property is well maintained. '

'Stille omgeving, Goede kamer, goed ontbijt Goede informatie over eetgelegenheden'

'When I got there they told me they don't have a room, even though my booking was confirmed and fully paid for the room. And I was not refunded by the property.'

'There was a bath without a screen instead of a shower. A large dead cockroach in the bathroom. Lights outside the bedroom window that were not switched off. Naked, exposed wiring where the switch for the bedside lamp should be ( I could have electrocuted myself reaching for the switch at night!). Very noisy water pipes from 3am. The bed was clean and comfortable but the roach had spoiled it all.'

'We booked George B Boutique Lodge based on the positive Google reviews, but unfortunately our experience was completely different. The lodge appears to still be under construction, with many broken items in the rooms, exposed electrical wiring around the property, mould on the ceilings, and basic necessities missing on arrival. We had to repeatedly ask for essentials like toilet paper, towels, teaspoons, and coffee cups. In my opinion, the lodge should not be accommodating guests in its current...
