'I think this is an older motel but they have done an excellent job of remodeling, keeping it up and clean. Staff was awesome. The only negative was parking. They have very few well sized spaces for full sized pickups and the parking lot can be tight. even with that no doubt I will stay here next time we are in John Day'

'We kozen dit motel vanwege de hoge waardering. Waar die op gebaseerd is , is totaal onduidelijk. We werden vriendelijk en behulpzaam ontvangen, maar de kamer bleek ontzettend gedateerd. De indruk wordt gewekt dat er een bar en restaurant in het motel zijn, die zijn er niet maar gelukkig wel op loopafstand. '

'As a diamond select member I did not get an upgrade or a snackpack! Disappointing'

'The smoke detector had a plastic bag over it. When I asked why the attendant wasn't sure but they had been doing some repairs.'

'Lovely quiet property on a working farm, well-stocked although needs USB, USB-C etc charging ports. Active but friendly dogs, so if you do not like dogs, maybe not the place for you; I enjoyed them. It was the perfect spot to explore the John Day National Monument area, and the view from the front porch was lovely.'

'It is a very cute little home. Perfect for my stay for business. Very comfy and cozy.'

'Great place to stay! Oh and lets talk about that shower! WOW! We would stay here again!'

'The house is truly in a beautiful area! The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans as well as many condiments and general supplies. Beds were super comfortable and the living arrangements and deck worked well for our family of six - 2 kids, grandparents and parents. It was a great location for exploring the John Day fossil beds. '

'Nice stay. Would be nice to have chaise lounge on deck. '

'This place was perfect-close to town, very very clean, comfortable and very nice. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend.'

'Beautiful view over John Day and the hills. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. Very quiet and peaceful and definitely look forward to coming back in the future.'

'We had a fantastic time at the farm with our doggos. The host was very accessible for questions before our trip, and the farmhouse is a great, tidy getaway for families (kids and the dog kind)!'

'We really enjoyed staying in this unit. We wanted to spend time at the John Day Fossil National Monument and this was very convenient for accessing the various sites. Restaurants and brewery within easy walking distance.'

'This is a beautiful home, on property. Conveniently located to John Day and Canyonville, yet just the right distance from them to be extremely peaceful! No sirens or horns. The home is large, great kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Large front and back decks to enjoy the outdoors. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, I was sad to leave. I was surrounded by deer and the beautiful scenery. The view from the front porch is spectacular and the starry night skies are huge. Beautiful home...
