'I would try other hotels before I stayed here again and I would never stay here with another guest in the same room. The pictures must be 20 years old because the property is more worn than advertised. Bathroom was very small, like leave your toiletries in the room small. Breakfast was below average. '

'This is a low budget motel, so I don't expect much. But the room has to be clean and this was not! Multiple stains on the bed linnen, sheets and towels. The floor in the bathroom was sticky and the carpet was not clean.'

'Overall this property was a comfortable, cozy place to spend a weekend away. The host provided so many thoughtful items for guest use. The wood stove was a nice experience on a damp chilly night. Location was amazing for visiting Cowans Gap State Park.'

'We were pleasantly surprised by the open living/kitchen/dining area. The kids enjoyed the outdoor play spaces. And the well-stocked kitchen made it so nice for a holiday get-together.'

'The place was great very clean. The host was very helpful and quick to respond when needed. The house had everything we needed for cooking. The ski resort was a short walk away but you would need to drive to the tubing slopes. Overall great place and excellent location '
