'The cabin is close enough to enjoy New River Gorge National Park and away enough to be left alone to enjoy the river and Mountains.'

'This almost didn't happen because there was a storm that took the power out. But, fortunately, the power was on and we were able to have 2 nights there. It has so much character. It was clean and located close to the New River Gorge for us to commute back and forth. Tiffany was wonderful to communicate with us and she and Kevin gave a quick history lesson of the place.'

'I was looking for a small secluded place to get away and enjoy peace and quiet. I certainly found it in Fern Creek. The setting is beautiful, the accommodations are perfect and the amenities were first class. You are close to a plethora of outdoor activities and yet far enough off the beaten path too relax and enjoy tranquility. I will be returning soon to spend more time.'

'This stay was for our 10th anniversary. The cabin was fantastic. We loved the hot tub and the privacy. We had an issue where VRBO didn’t send us the the cabin number and correct code. We ended up arriving at 2am due an emergency delay in our trip. We contacted VRBO and they contacted our host. We felt bad for waking him at 2am, but he was able to give us the information we needed. We stayed 3 nights. We hope to come back this summer to explore some of the activities that haven’t opened yet for...

'The house was clean. All appliances in good working order. Check in was easy. Owner easy to communicate with. She even checked in with me to make sure I got home okay. She was great to work with. Will stay there again, if I am in the New River Gorge are. Located close to attractions and out door events.'

'Great location for home basefor hiking and sight seeing. The area was cleaning up after a storm when we arrived. Power out at places, no wifi, but all was eventually restored. Take a book, as if wifi is out, there is no tv. Cell service very spotty. However the home has what you need for a nice stay. Relax and disconnect!'
