'It is a decent, clean hotel at a convenient location. It's a good base for exploring the surrounding area. The rooms were pretty standard and clean. Our room was at the front and that was rather noisy, because it is located on a fairly busy road. The people at the front desk and at the breakfast service were very friendly and helpful.'

'Close to the harbour and the bus stop. The street can be a bit noisy but the people staying at the guesthouse it is quiet and peacefull.'

'A charming home in the middle of Leirvik, just 10 minutes from the Klaksvik ferry to Kalsoy. Do note that the tunnel from Leirvik to Klaksvik comes with an added cost. Lilja does a fantastic job of making your stay personal and the homemade breakfast each morning is a great way to start the day! As I was the only one staying (there are multiple rooms that could potentially be rented out at the same time), I particularly enjoyed our conversations about Faroese life, culture, faith and tourism....

'This is a very unique and beautiful stay. It is a steep walk down a few steps to the boathouse and is a little tight with luggage. The washer and dryer are below the boathouse and accessible through a trapdoor and down a small ladder- it's fun to go down to. The shower is very small and you will be unable to stand upright in it- you just gotta sit to shower. Despite the few quirks, we absolutely loved this boathouse stay.
