'Nice but very basic room. Night stands would be very useful. Staff is friendly. Parking is easy and most of the amenities are clean. Just wondering why half of the shower stalls were closed.'

'Ruim appartement. De bovenste appartementen hebben zelfs uitzicht op zee. De ramen naar het balkon kunnen helemaal open. Vriendelijk personeel bij de receptie. 2 minuten lopen vanaf het strand. Zeker hier verblijven als je in Whitianga bent!'

'Everything about this hotel is a gold star, despite the bathrooms being slightly outdated and the road to get there semi isolated for food options. This is a great place for a night or even a week! The staff were friendly, and so were the ducks and eels! We were fortunate to see the lunar eclipse right from their hand built trail, and only wish we could have stayed longer. '

'Mooie lodge met uitzicht op het water. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Enig min puntje : iets te weinig keukengerief . Er was geen eetgelegenheid dichtbij ( enige was gesloten). Wel grote supermarkt . Zo hebben we wel ten volle van het terras aan de lodge en het uitzicht kunnen genieten !'

'We stayed in one of the lodges that was well-equipped, a good size and with a verandah. Unfortunately not overlooking the beach but it was only a short distance away - if you want a sea view then double check when booking. Also we stayed towards the end of season and the bar and pizza place on site were closed Monday and Tuesday but it was only a 10 minute walk into Hahei for cafes and a great brewery serving food. Couldn’t fault the staff for their friendliness and helpfulness. '

'The staff were wonderful. We were late in arriving but staff made the check-in process smooth and easy. We were in unit 1 which has a view of the bay and a wonderful outside sitting area with a bbq. Linens were nice and beds comfortable. The heat pump worked well when we needed air conditioning or heat. The staff were very helpful during an unusual heavy rainfall event to make sure we were safe and had everything we needed. We would stay again if we are back in the area. Hot water beach and...

'Kamer was net zo groot als het bed, verder was er niets. Douches zonder haakjes of kleedruimte. Alles veel te klein en benauwd. We hebben voor hetzelfde geld veel betere accommodaties gehad. Schandelijk dat ze hier zoveel geld voor durven te vragen. '
