'Staff were fantastic and my dad was given a wonderful welcome. The rooms and cleanliness and hospitality and warmth was outstanding. Thank you Magdelena and all the staff for making our stay so special. Thank you also to Daisy for organising the rooms to accommodate us as a group. My dad had a wonderful time. 'Hotel zelf is mooi, de kamers zijn simpel maar schoon. Roomservice besteld, welke koud werd gebracht en duurder was dan op de kaart stond. Ontbijt was wel uitgebreid, vooral heel Engels. Kaarten van de kamer waren iedere keer defect en moesten we weer naar beneden om het te regelen. Personeel is top! '

'Verwarming op de kamer werkte niet en de airco's in de lobby maakten veel herrie! Verder was alles goed verzorgd!'

'Was opzich een prima verblijf met erg vriendelijk personeel. Kamers zijn oud en stoffig en wel toe aan een opfisbeurt. Bed was veel te klein voor een tweepersoonsbed en kamers waren gehorig. Lobby was mooi en omgeving hotel ook fijn met ook een winkelcentrum. '

'Lovely staff, very helpful . Our room was very nice, but a little bit tired and old-fashioned . That was a tear in one of the curtains and the French window onto the garden didn’t engage down at the bottom thus not locking properly alsowe had a lightbulb out on the wall lights behind the bed. Nothing to spoil the visit. It was taken on board at reception when we mentioned it on our departure. Also have to comment that one of our breakfast was not good for £20 per person. 'The hotel is extremely dated and is far away from being a 4 star hotel. The rooms are small, hot & stuffy. The windows didn’t open fully (safety - fair enough) and the fan provided in the wardrobe was so full of dust it wouldn’t even switch on. Carpets throughout the hotel are old and tatty. The walls are littered with scuff marks and the floor tiles in our bathroom were all cracked. The hotel was completely understaffed so no wonder the ones that were there were cranky & frazzled. 'I was surprised at how clean and spacious this apartment was especially at what we paid for it for 1 night. It had everything that you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The room was so hot but the weather was 28degrees outside and so we walked in to 2 fans already blowing in the room. The apartment was exactly the same as the photos used. Thanks. Would recommend or stay myself again in the future.'

'Vanwege business was ik 1 nacht in het hotel en gelukkig naar. Inchecken ging nog redelijk maar het Hotel is somber van uitstraling, zelfs wat bedompt en heeft lange gangen met smerig tapijt , kamers die qua maat in orde zijn maar met zeer matige matrassen en slordig worden opgeleverd. Wel een waterkoker en dan geen theelepel of blikjes water wat wel op de kamer hoort te staan. '

'Service was erg goed, voorbeeld, Heb een auto met nederlands kenteken dus het stuur aan de linker kant. Gezien de parkeerplaats naast het hotel bezet was door gereden naar de 2de parkeerplaats hier moest je een code in typen maar de afgestelde tijd voor de slagboom was erg kort. Dit uitgelegd hebben ze mij een vaste parkeerplaats gereserveerd naast het hotel. Dat is een zeer goede service vind ik.'

'De kamer was schoon, maar oud en aan renovatie toe. Het centrum van Watford is op loopafstand en het treinstation ligt aan de overkant. '

'A pleasant stay in a lovely big room. Very clean in room and comfortable. The communual are looked tatty, particularly the brown carpet which needs replacing. Breakfast was ok but a bit cold.'

'Een zeer leuke Lodge met leuk en gezellig personeel wat zin had in het werk. Lekker eten en een luxe kamer met zeer nette badkamer. Helaas stond hier de verwarming nog aan wat jammer was.'

'The Hotel's location is very good. However, it is busy and can be loud at times. The check-in was a bit hard, as there is not really a front desk, as customers are required to self check in. Was unable to check in early as requested, however, staff locked up our bags. Upon returning twas unable to self checkin in. There is a buzzer, which "may" get staff to come to desk. However, I rang it and end up waiting, for awhile before staff attended. I explained, I was unable to self check in. ...

'Room very clean. Ample parking, easy access to the room up rear stairs but could be difficult for some. I'd stay there again'
