'It’s a good hotel to ski. They have shuttle bus every half hour between hotel and the train station. The massive hotel is facing a ski field, particularly good for beginners, ski school and park for kids. After ski, then you can enjoy the hot spring. It’s amazing. I also love the buffet. I may bring the kids back again for ski in future. '

'The room smelt at cigarettes. There was no a la carte available, very expensive buffet or course menu. The buffet was not very tasteful. You have to pay for fitness and swimming pool, abnormal high amount. Price-quality not in line!'

'Super friendly staff and very helpful with providing information. The room is decent nothing outstanding, so is the public bath in the basement. But this place is quite convenient to an izakaya just few minutes away foot and also a local small onsen. The staff made this place worth it. '

'Excellent hotel, it sits on the top of the hill that overlooks the city. The room was very comfortable and we happen to also have a private osen inside our bathroom in the balcony which was amazing. I recommend getting the room with breakfast. The city doesn't open early as most restaurant in the city opens in the afternoon. Unless your planning to skip breakfast I highly recommend you get breakfast option with your reservation. The hotel restaurant opens at 8pm, if your an early eater like...

'The space is very inviting. I loved that they supplied a kimono for me to wear during my stay. The bath was delightful.'

'The building is old and everything is a little cramped. But the great thing are the hotel owners and staff. The lady is very accommodating and friendly and she did her best to accommodate our requests. The building is so near the mountain so we don't have to pay for additional parking and just walk from the hotel. We'd love to return there again for next New Year's skiing!'

'Lawson is 2 min walk. Onsen is great We stayed on top floor 5th floor, lift only goes to 4th floor unfortunately, so carry up luggage 25 steps. Might need help if you struggle with heavy lifting Room is spacious. Lobby lounge comfy. Well family ran hotel. Shuttle bus runs frequently morning till 6pm. The shuttle bus at echigo station stops on the right side as you come out the sliding door of the station if you are looking for it. There is ski rental if needed. Small souvenirs...

'Incredibly clean and hygienic place, I’ve stayed there before and loved it! Super close to the ski resort, onsen visit is included, they have storage for your ski/ snowboard equipment as well as free laundry. The showers are amazing as well as the room heaters. I love staying here and I will be returning next year :) might just be an annual trip! They also have a great kitchen setup, along with Beer on draft! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!! 😊'
