'Got some hiccups upon check-in due to earlier made requests were not noticeable and unattended at all. 'We needed a hotel near the Ipoh busterminal Amanjaya. We found this one and were very happy with it. Staff was very helpful, hotel was pretty new, so the room was quite nice with a great bathroom and shower. No view from the roomwindow. Bar/restaurant in the hotel was well equipped for a quick (western) bite to eat. Next to it a mall with some quality shops and food court. Price was so low, everything was so good, this one is a no brainer, you get a lot of quality for a low price!'

'It is really clean and the windows are full height from the ground to the ceiling, so you get a complete view of the mountains. Darvin was very communicative and attentive to our needs. 'Easy street parking as the block of shop lots were mainly empty. The room we were given had no windows and there is no lift, the stairs were uneven so you need to take care. I found the bed uncomfortable and it was noisy (poor soundproofing)but otherwise, given the price, it is good value. You will need transport to get into Taiping as it is on the outskirts of the town. '

'A basic value for money hotel that is good for short stay. No cleaning or top up service provided during my two nights stay. Door closing in neighbouring rooms and rain can be heard despite no windows in my room but otherwise fine. Two shopping malls of walking distance away with many eateries around. The Indian lady (sorry didn’t get her name) at the reception was very friendly and helpful. '

"The accommodation looks like a building what used to be a great hotel back in the days. The rooms are spacious and there is free breakfast included with freshly made omelet. However the carpet is full of spots, the bathroom full of molt and little insects. The hotel experienced a few power interruptions during our stay. The location is on walking distance of the city center with nice restaurants for a good diner."
