'The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available.'

'The apartment was clean spacious and quiet considering how close it is to the station. Communication with Ray and Gareth as hosts was fantastic, and they were so accommodating with an early check in and out time. Would definitely recommend. If I had to make any comments, the mezzanine has a very low ceiling with steep stairs, and for the 4 beds upstairs there is only one plug. Also it's quite hard to be quiet for others as all the rooms are open! (Bar the bathroom). But didn't detract for us as...

'The 8 Stanley Street studios are well located for visiting key places of interest, with nearby shops and restaurants and travel options available. I had no trouble finding my way from the station or navigating my way around the city. Suzanne who met me on arrival and checked me in was friendly and helpful. I would definitely book with 8 Stanley Street again.'
