'we spent 6 weeks doing a road trip... stayed at many Ryokans along the way including many of the famous onsen towns. This was the best .. not an easy place to get to but well worth the time and effort. WONDERFUL '

'The staff at the hotel were excellent in their professionalism and helpfulness. The facilities were as you’d expect in a budget hotel, providing pyjamas, hair brush, toothbrush and toothpaste, towels, razor, cotton buds, hairdryer etc. The beds were very comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel. The only negative is that the decor is dated, but that can add a little something extra to your stay to be honest. Our room, 318, had a great view of Mt Fuji.'

'流しそうめんは、こどもの食いつきが抜群でした。往路で新金谷のトーマスフェスタを満喫、河原の臨時駐車場の待ち時間も、広場で凧揚げをして楽しみました。アプト式の電車で千頭駅まで往復、トーマスチームに会えて、思い出に残る旅行でした。両国吊り橋の入り口のピザ屋さん、両国吊り橋茶屋さん、本格的なピザが堪能できますよ'
