'Perfect location, but rooms desperately need renovation. No safety deposit, no refrigerator and nowhere to charge your phone, laptop etc.near beds. Only one power outlet on the other side of the room. Very good breakfast but only 1 coffee machine! Staff extremely helpful and friendly!'

' Het hotel is goed gelegen in het centrum, met een standaard ontbijt inbegrepen. Er zijn genoeg restaurants in de omgeving op loopafstand. De reden dat ik geen vijf sterren gaf, is omdat ik een kamer had geboekt met een groot bed, maar ik kreeg een kamer met twee bedden. Bovendien was de bureaustoel doorgezakt, wat het lastig maakte om met mijn laptop te werken '

'Vlot inchecken en nette kamers. Fijn bed en goed ontbijt. Enige minpuntje: douche in de badkuip, daardoor iets minder comfortabel.'

'Lodge was great value for money, especially like the kids room even though we didnt use it! Will definitely be coming back With the kids! Spa treatments were great and spa facilites such as the pool and sauna were excellent! Staff incredibly helpful and freindly! Wish id been staying for longer!'

'Pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend. Room was spacious and clean. Loved the wines glasses! The breakfast was perfectly adequate and the shared kitchen clean and pleasant to sit in. We paid for carpark and were allowed to leave car the next for a visit of the city. A nice 20 minutes walk along the canal. Host very prompt and polite by text once we had booked. Great price for the convenience and facilities. Thank you ☺️ '

'Hotel zelf was best redelijk, typisch Engels, niet helemaal meer bij de tijd maar beslist niet slecht. Bed was wel een minpunt, hard. Kamer was ruim. Ontbijt prima (tegen 9 GBP bijbetaling). En zeer fijn: goede gratis parking achter slagboom. Gelegen tegenover een kerk met gras. Mijn grootste twijfel was de plaats Grimsby zelf waar dit hotel midden in staat. Wat is dat een enge plaats, vooral als de winkels dicht zijn. Opvallend veel obscure, luide types op straat, en geen politie te bekennen...
