'I arrived needing the toilet. I opened the door to find 3 beds in adjoining rooms but no toilet or bathroom. I ran around in desperation, even to a property next door. Eventually found a tiny, partially hidden pathway which I followed and found a toilet and bathroom at the end of the path. No signage or written explanations in the bedroom telling me where the toilet is. No response to my desperate written message.'

'Property in person is even better than advertised. Check in/out was easy, communication with the owner was seamless, and our stay was quiet and relaxing. The retreat is extremely well equipped with all the amenities one could want. The living room and sleeping space was comfortable and well appointed. We couldn’t have asked for more!'

' Conveniently located between Havelock North and Hastings.Hosts were absolutely accomodating and Teddy Bear (dog) was a bonus.There is some traffic noise at peak times.'

'The cottage was perfect for our requirements, basically a comfortable place to sleep, facilities to prepare basic breakfast, clean and comfortable, It's proximity to Havelock North and Hastings suited our requirements. We would definitely stay again and it was well priced.No pool but had to rate this when submitting hence the one star.'
