'Amazing cottage in a very sweet quiet town, the host was great at communicating and very lovely. Could not have had a better place to stay for our trip to Lancashire. 10/10 would recommend!'

'Mini Sainsburys and post office were within yards away and very useful. I would have liked a few more small shelves in bathroom and I couldn’t even see myself in the mirror in the lounge so couldn’t understand what it was there for (maybe for decorative purposes!). Nice and warm and bed very comfortable. Although I understand Ts&Cs, for an elderly and vulnerable person such as myself I found stripping the bed and towels etc before leaving at 11:00am quite a tiring process. However, all in all it...

'Check in was easy and the cottage clean and warm on arrival. It is small, but was perfect for 2 of us with everything we needed for 2 nights. Shower was hot and powerful. Sofa was a bit uncomfortable to sit on but not a problem. There is a public footpath that runs past the front door but we only saw one person all weekend. We did spot a deer through the kitchen window which was lovely to see. We did some lovely walks from the cottage. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend or stay again. Thank you'
