'Prima kamer. Genoeg handdoeken ed, uitstekende douche. Alleen waren de bedden erg slap en wiebelig. Wel goed geslapen. In de kamer was het erg warm, er was geen airco. Alleen een ventilator. De ramen konden een klein beetje open.'

'Long wait at check in. Airco downstairs, but room hot and no airco. Check out time 11.00. But at 10.30 they said we had 10 minutes. Airco unit of downstairs next to room window…. Unbelievable. A lot of noise. Awfull service of front desk. Mostly not occupied and you have to call an outside number with your cell. Best hotel of Colchester. What a Joke. '

'Good price and nice breakfast with cooked to order options. Lovely to have a hotel with a full gym and swimming pool. Location is a little odd as it's on an old airfield I believe which is now an industrial estate. Part of the grounds is a golf club but there are limited areas which are available there to walk or run meaning I ended up having to use a treadmill for my morning run instead of running outside. Seems a shame to not make the golf course more multi use and either push people into...

'Waren er een lang weekend, verbleven in een aangepaste invalidekamer, daar was alles erg laag georiënteerd op het knopje van de ventilator van de douche na, die zat bijna bij plafond. Laatste ochtend koude douche, maar werd gelukkig wel gecompenseerd met gratis ontbijt. Drukke straat, maar ook heel leuk, je zit dan wel midden in de stad. '

'Stayed here several times before and always really pleased with the quality and attention to detail. Sadly this stay fell way short! For the price paid for room only I would expect more! Poor lighting, no full length mirror and blind that were broken! Would take a lot to make me return!'

'Netjes, vriendelijk personeel, lekker ontbijt. Enkel jammer dat er geen restaurant in de locatie zelf is. Wel zijn er een hele boel restaurants in de buurt.'

'The room was basic and very hot. No fan provided, two extra pillows provided but without covers. In addition, one side of bed broken, two beside lamps not working and hotel surrounding is unkempt. Overall, the hotel seems isolated, outside needs more attention and provide the required amenities!'

'Kleine kamer met basis faciliteiten uitgerust. Badkamer was niet goed schoon, maar dit werd na constatering snel door het personeel hersteld. Ontbijtmogelijkheid bij de accommodatie is handig. '

'A large suite with separate bedroom and bathroom, both of a very generous size. This was offered as an upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. Staff most attentive and food and service in the restaurant was excellent. Highly recommended.'
