'We loved the hotel. Only criticism wish could have stayed longer! Beautiful quirky interior. Spotless spacious room with good air con lovely shower and white company bath products and v comfy bed. Good price too of room and drinks in bar. Didn't actually have breakfast so can't comment HOWEVER did order a cappuccino which was horrible (just watery milk) 🙄 I cannot wait to go back and stay again. Just ten minutes to town great location. '

'Nice clean room, perfect for what we needed. Cooked breakfast wasn't amazing but the kids loved it and the continental breakfast was lovely. For the price we paid for two nights you would spend that on two breakfasts for 4 people. Would recommend '

'Plenty and easy parking. When I entered the bar, I was confronted with Theakstone's on draught, real ale, which is one of my all time favourites (only temporarily available) so I knew that my stay was going to be excellent. Nice food, very friendly staff and nice breakfast. It was my first stay, but hopefully not my last. My routing when travelling in the UK varies, but I hope I can include the Forest Lodge in my future travel plans. It would be worth driving a bit extra to arrive here. '

'Nice place in the middle of nowhere but bar restaurant 100 meters away and linked to the hotel. Everything present for a nice stay. The hotel is in a very good condition and all set according international standards. Nothing to complain about!'

'Hadden standaard twee persoons kamer. Had duidelijk zijn beste tijd gehad. Suites lijken wel gemoderniseerd. Personeel uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ligging prima om in kort tijd lopend in het centrum te komen. Plaats met rijke historie moeite waard om te bezoeken. '
