'Great location wjth all you need for a weekend near the ski field'

'The space and property was just perfect for our family ranching from 2 to 70 in age. '

'Accommodation wasn't as clean as it could be - there were a lot of dead flies on the floor and window sill. Communication was good. Location was okay - views weren't as good as expecting and there were no facilities on offer at Lodge - everything was closed up. Set up pretty basic in chalet. Kitchen is more a kitchenette. Only one small pot for cooking. No tea and basically no coffee - teaspoon or so left and it was dry and stuck to bottom of container. This was disappointing given no shops...

'The floor creeks and noise was mental. Couldnt sleep till people above us stopped walking around. Parts of the floor sounded like it was about to cave in. The cleaners miss alot and dont move furniture to clean or go above where they cant reach obviously as alot of bugs stuck on walls up in corners, heaps of dust and bugs on the oven rangehood and top of fridge. Rubbish left under furniture. Its a lovely place so should be kept to its best standards that it holds. Playground on the grounds...

'I made a mistake with the booking date, and the host was great at helping me change it. Good location if visiting family in Temuka. Rooms are a bit cold (not unusual for NZ buildings - poor insulation is the norm for older buildings in NZ). The motel provides heaters in each room, which helped. Across the street from Night & Day dairy, good for snacks and supplies. A good option in the small town of Temuka if you dont want to trek from Timaru or Geraldine.'
