« Clean and beautiful »

« Larry was a great host, responded quickly and had the cabin ready early for us. We stayed with our dogs, very quiet and secluded, yet near town and state parks for a nice hike with the pups! Cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay again if back in the area. Thank you!! »

« Beautiful little cottage with amazing views. Perfect for a few day get away, when wanting to escape life and all its chaos. Clean, comfortable and quiet and throughly enjoyed watching the deer from the bed. Would most definitely stay again. »

« Our stay was two nights. I wish it could've been two months! Such a gorgeous view of the falls and canyon below. Adding to the tranquility was the sound of the rushing water. Usually up-and-at'em, we found ourselves lazily spending the morning reading on the porch. Evenings on the screened porch were lovely. The screen enclosure extended to the bottom of the porch, below the floorboards, to keep sneaky skeeters and other insects that would typically try to find their way in towards the lights...

« We really enjoyed the pool, which was cold and perfect for the summer heat. It was quiet and peaceful. We felt relaxed and comfortable. There is a couch in the living room even though the photos do not show it. The hang gliders were fun to watch as well. »

« Cozy cabin with beautiful views. Mr. Dave was very nice and and took care of our every need. We will definitely be coming back to stay! Perfect getaway spot. Close to everything we wanted to do. »

« We had a wonderful stay at the Above the Clouds Chalet! The house was spacious and full of unique antiques for us to look at and enjoy. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with most everything we needed down to paper towels and garbage bags. They had even supplied our favorite coffee for the coffee maker! We used the deck quite a bit, eating our meals outside, as well as using the hot tub which was on the end of the deck. The deck supplied you with views of the valley, no matter the time of day....

« The driveway and the stairs to the boat house/dock are very steep and of concern if problems with mobility/balance. There is only 1 tv. »

« Nice quiet location with super access to the lake. Clean and neat. The snack basket awaiting us was a nice touch. We've marked this in our favorites for a future visit. Lack of wifi wasn't a problem since there is cell reception. »

« Perfect for a one or two person escape. Gorgeous view and comfortable accommodations. Would maybe suggest a hot plate or an electric frying pan so a small something could be toasted or cooked instead of microwaved. Everything else was provided and lovely. »

« First time staying in Alabama. We rent vacation houses many times per year and I can say our stay here was wonderful. It is close to the road, there is definitely road noise, but it didn't matter, the house and the view made you forget the noise. The bed was beyond comfortable! We lost power one night (the entire area, not a house issue). I messaged the host and received a response within minutes (at 9:30 pm). She called the power company and it was back on within 30 minutes. We also requested...
