We had fun in the area - hiking state parks (Mount Jefferson and Rendezvous), National Park System Brinegar Cabin, Blue Ridge Parkway, Emerald Hollow Mine, Love Valley (horse only town) Christmas parade/ tree lighting, and a mead flight at Stardust Cellars (kid and dog friendly). « While there are other houses visible, this property was extremely quiet and relaxing. Great location, "civilization" easily accessible...just a short drive. Hope to stay again when we're more physically mobile (one broken back and one broken leg... hopefully we'll be fully recovered soon). Plenty of historic sites nearby. »

« This duplex was a clean & comfy space! The owner makes staying at this location very easy by providing the perfect amount of amenities, great communication and clear expectations. We were brought to town for the Miss NC pageant, and although our evenings were full, we were able to enjoy some exploring of local antiques and thrift stores!
