'John is an excellent host! We had a great stay, caught a lot of small fish off the pier, but no big ones - this time! this was our dogs first vacation, and it was the perfect stay for her too... there's a fenced in yard, so she could do her thing, off leashwe'll certainly be back to stay again! '

'This tiny little spot was perfect for my husband and I to share a quiet little get away to celebrate our anniversary. The key code on the front door was easy to get into, and once we walked in, we were amazed by the huge window by the bed. When laying on the bed, it's like laying in the middle of a forest with all the trees around. There was plenty of room for us to put our things, and stay for the night. We enjoyed the hot tub and and was able to relax in the peace and quiet. '

'Greg was a great host. The property itself is very nice even being a guest house. There is a pond, barn with horses, chicken and goats. A garden that has lights at night with is very romantic. There is also a pool on the property that faces the Yadkin River. Thank you Greg for being such a good host and having such an awesome property. One of the best places I’ve stayed while traveling! 10 out of 10! '

"We stayed here for 2 nights in a comfortable suite. The property was very pleasant, as were the staff. Parking was easy and safe. Strange that a hotel of this class doesn't have a bar or restaurant though. I know they offer a glass of wine in the evening, but having to walk 10 minutes to find somewhere to go for a nightcap we found unusual. Feels more like a wedding venue than a full-service hotel. Breakfast was very good."
