'The welcome at Sundaras Resort & Spa was friendly and warm. Our rooms however clearly had not been cleaned in a while. We came with reasonably high expectations of this four-star resort, but wound up feeling a bit disappointed with the state of the resort. 'Beautiful hotel, only our accomodation was not so modern anymore.
Toilets for woman are having Windows who is open and it feels like from above everybody can look into the toilet'

'Food good, breakfast nice, although expensive. Swimming pool looked and prob was lovely but right next to restaurant with glass walls so a bit too public for us. Nice sitting area close to trees with monkeys passing through. Staff very courteous and helpful, they arranged an elephant safari for us the same afternoon we arrived.
The hotel is quite far from any other hotels or sights - Sigiriya is about 40 mins - so there’s no walking to eat anywhere else but you could get a tuktuk.'

'Ho dovuto cambiare camera con un amico uomo perché l hotel era privo di ospiti ed una donna sola non poteva certo soggiornare.

'It's the grounds that made me fall in love with this place. Intimate & beautiful but big enough that you can stretch out your legs by strolling through well cared for gardens. Lots of flowers. A small bubbling river wraps around the property & there is this perfect spot along the river where you can sit on a bench and take in the sounds of the forest and the view of mountains in the distance. Pure bliss! The hotel itself is close to the main highway, but tucked just far enough back from the road...
