'Beautiful cottage, very clean, big enough for 2 people, c/w pull-out sofabed if required. Walking distance to local town ~15mins, all uphill. You have to drive to Monsanto though, another 10 mins away. The driveway to this cottage is very, very narrow - you can only drive 1 vehicle at a time, not for the inexperienced nor faint of heart. It is NOT a one-way system either, beware.'

'The cooking facilities were very good as were the beds; even the pull out couch was comfortable. Should be noted that it's up a fair number of stairs and no elevator. Over all very good value for the money.'

If you want to feel like you’ve truly experienced Portugal, you should definitely stay here. We have been traveling by car for a month and the owners very modestly claim that they don’t have a private parking space BUT you can park along the chapel RIGHT next to the apartment or at the public...
