'Nice gardens surrounding the house/palace in an isolated natural place inviting to relaxing and enjoy nature. Only 30 minutes to Santoña and other attractions. Restaurant team very friendly but people at reception were not friendly not knowledgeable, so making some situations uneasy. Only breakfast and dinner offered at the hotel restaurants. Food was quite good. A couple of local small restaurants in the town. We likes Casa de Montaña.'

' Aunque el tiempo en Cantabria no es del todo caluroso y es más bien fresquito no quita para que las habitaciones, si no tienen aire acondicionado, tengan aunque sea un misero ventilador. Pasamos unas noches de tremenda calor, sin poder dormir, en una habitación dos metros cuadradros con una ventana estrechísima al exterior por donde no entraba ni gota de aire fresco. Descasamos muy mal esas noches y al día siguiente estábamos reventados para cubrir kilómetros en ver sitios.'

'Wat een prachtig uitzicht. Het appartement is rustig gelegen met een mooie tuin en mogelijkheid tot buiten zitten, genieten en eten. De ligging is ideaal. Vlakbij, 7 min rijden, het dorp Ampuero en niet ver van mooie stranden en steden. Mooie slaapkamers, de keuken is gewoon. We misten een oven en wat aperiedpotjes, plateau. Leuk dat er een vaatwas en wasmachine is. Ideaal voor mensen met een hond. Lieve en vriendelijke eigenares.'

'This is a spectacular property, however you do need a car to get to it. Loads of space and family friendly. The local town is vibrant and welcoming and is only 10mins away by car. The owner was very kind and helpful. The pool that is mentioned is a communal pool shared by the houses (roughly 10 properties) on the street. There is no WiFi! It didn't matter, but the evils I got from the kids! '
